For the young members of SEAOC, as well as the young at heart, we have events specifically planned for you. It all starts on Wednesday afternoon, September 24th. After showing off your skills at the beach volleyball tournament, come join us for drinks and appetizers at the YMF Social, located at the Kahakai Bar, from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. In addition, the following tours are available for you to sign up for and enjoy. Kayak Adventures (FREE, at Hotel, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) - Embark on a two-hour kayaking/snorkeling adventure right off the hotel's white sand beach. Your guide will lead you out into pristine Pauoa Bay where you'll paddle along the beautiful Mauna Lani Resort shoreline. Terrific snorkel spots abound and you'll marvel at underwater arches, Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu), eagle rays, tropical reef fish and other marine life of the coral reef ecosystem. Learn about the ancient Hawaiians who called this shoreline home, and the legends they passed down through the generations. Pinz Trek Off-road Adventure/Kohala Coastal Ride ($140/person, 45 mins. from Hotel, 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) - Six wheels are better than four. Explore the remote Kohala region on the northern tip of the Big Island in rugged PinzTrek vehicles. Ramble through a landscape of rushing streams, towering ocean cliffs and cascading waterfalls. There will even be time to stop and take a dip in a cool mountain waterfall pool. ATV Riding Waipi'o Valley ($160/person, 1 hour from Hotel, 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) - RideThe Rim Waipi'o Valley Tour. Includes light refreshments and 'talk story' from experienced, knowledgeable guides.
