Community Involvement Awards
The Community Involvement Award is an annual program that recognizes members who exemplify SEAONC's mission to enhance the life safety, environmental health, and economic well being of the public. Past recipients are those who have demonstrated active participation in their community, both publicly and professionally, and give willingly of themselves to heighten the public perception of Structural Engineers. The program is presided over by the Public Affairs and Membership committee, which gathers nominations for presentation to the Board of Directors, who bestow the final conferment. The award is presented at the April dinner meeting and consists of a commemorative plaque along with a monetary donation to the charity of the recipient's choice.
