Mentorship Program
The SEAONC Public Affairs and Membership Committee organizes the Mentorship Program to introduce new members to the SEAONC organization and all it has to offer. This is accomplished by pairing new members with active members for each year's New Member Orientation, held prior to the September dinner meeting.
Each new member that participates in the Mentorship Program receives free admission to the September dinner, and introduction to the SEAONC Committees, Board Members, and other New Members!
The suggested responsibilities of the Mentor are as follows:
  • Accompany and introduce the new member at the September dinner meeting.
  • Emphasize the importance of SEAONC committees and enroll the new member in at least one committee.
  • Be a resource for the new member through his/her involvement in SEAONC. This includes seminars, conventions, and committee participation, as appropriate for the mentor and the new member.
Are you an active SEAONC member who is interested in being a mentor? Email the SEAONC Office at office@seaonc.org to sign up today!
