General Description
The Public Affairs and Membership Committee actively addresses issues affecting the general membership of the Association, and the relationship between the membership and the public. Activities include developing and distributing information about structural engineering, updating SEAONC publications, and assisting the Board in the Association's contact with the press and the public.
The Committee provides the Association's members with an opportunity for participation in community service by organizing the annual SEAONC Rebuilding Together volunteer group. The Committee also assists in the membership process by planning and implementing programs to attract new members.
