On August 11, 2009, Katy Hollbacher, PE, spoke to a group of architects, builders, and engineers at a seminar jointly hosted by AIA COTE and SEAONC.  Katy is Principal and Founder of Beyond Efficiency Inc. which is a green building consulting firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Her presentation discussed Advanced Framing Techniques which can reduce lumber use, minimize wood waste and enhance a buildings thermal efficiency.  To download Katy’s presentation click here.
