Academy of Art University School of Architecture seeking Bay Area based Licensed Structural Engineer with 10 years minimum experience with a variety of commercial, institutional, mixed use, urban projects interested in teaching graduate level architectural structural design workshops. We are looking for instructors with a strong interest and passion in participating in the education process. Prior teaching experience will be extremely beneficial. Instructor will act as a consultant to the design students in the exploration of structural design options and solutions for design studio proposals while reinforcing the students’ understanding of structural systems.
