Enjoy a wonderful lunch under the trees of a Spanish style courtyard. Hear crashing waves from Monterey Bay, while guest speaker Charles Thornton of Thornton-Tomasetti Engineers discusses the ACE Mentoring Program.

Join other young members for hosted cocktails at Peter B's Brew Pub, located in the Portola Plaza Hotel at Monterey Bay.

Mingle with the vendors and other attendees in the exhibit hall before departing for the aquarium.
- Strolling Dinner at Monterey Bay Aquarium
Chartered motor coaches will whisk away SEAOC guests to the front door of the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. The aquarium will be open only to SEAOC guests with access to almost the entire facility, including the Living Jellies and the new Sharks exhibit. Guides will be present to explain the displays and answer any questions. Grand-style food buffets will be set up in two wings of the aquarium with cabaret seating throughout. The entire family is welcome, so bring the kids!

- Annual Business Meeting Luncheon
Meet with fellow engineers from California and the Western States for the annual State of the Association address from SEAOC president Jim Malley. New SEAOC Fellows will also be announced and introduced.
- President's Cup Reception hosted by Club Curry
Come watch and cheer for your team in a friendly competition between the four SEAOC Member Organizations: SEAONC, SEAOSC, SEAOCC and SEAOSD. A hosted bar will be provided by Club Curry for everyone.
- A Night on Cannery Row
Cannery Row is the heart and soul of historic Monterey. Join us Friday night as we take you back in time to the early 40's, when the sardines were plentiful and life was much more simple. The evening's program begins with cocktails, includes a gourmet dinner and ends with you dancing the night away to the sounds of the Allstar Jukebox. Enjoy the evening with us and experience our version of Cannery Row, an inspirational setting of many inspirational tales.

Companion Activities
THE MONTEREY PENINSULA: "Full Circle Tour"
Thursday @ 10:30AM, $45.00
Guests depart the hotel and begin this special tour that encompasses the entire Monterey Peninsula, which includes Carmel-by-The-Sea. Passing through the street that was made famous by John Steinbeck guests will learn more about Monterey's Cannery Row and how it has evolved into one of the greatest locations for guests to visit on the Peninsula. As the coach passes the Monterey Bay Aquarium and enters the city of Pacific Grove, The Last Home Town, the Pacific Ocean will be on the right and the Victorian homes on your left. This town was founded as a Methodist summer retreat location. Our guide has wonderful stories about the history of the area and will share them with your guests.
The world famous 17 Mile Drive is next and it winds along the Peninsula's dramatic coastline, through scenic Del Monte Forest, and past beautiful mansions and world-class golf courses (Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hills, Cypress Point and Pebble Beach). Stops are made at the Lone Cypress Tree, Bird and Seal rock and The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
Lunch will be no host in Carmel-by-the-Sea and guests will have time to browse through the shops on Ocean Avenue before boarding the motor coach for the return to the hotel. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket. A camera is a must!
WINE TASTING TOUR in MONTEREY COUNTY

Guests will experience one of the leading wine producing regions in the world, Monterey County. Monterey County grapes, state-of-the-art equipment and experienced Winemakers result in world-class wines.
The day will begin at Chateau Julien Wine Estate located on 16 acres at the foot of the majestic Carmel Valley Mountains. Chateau Julien Wine Estate was started in 1982 and was built to create an old world atmosphere, which exudes warmth and hospitality. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a variety of the wines including the award winning brands of Chateau Julien, Garland Ranch and Emerald Bay Coastal.
Guests will stop for a no host lunch at a fine deli on route between wineries.
Next, the group will head to Heller Estates, located in the in Carmel Valley. Guests will tour and do a tasting which is a truly rewarding experience. Not only will guests enjoy the award winning tastes of this Estate, but they will also learn about the winemaking process from key players at the winery. A stroll through the exquisite sculptor gardens will complete the visit.
The final stop of the day will be at Joullian Vineyards Tasting Room in Carmel Valley. The tasting room resides in the elegant Joseph DeMaria building of classic architecture reminiscent of an old-world Burgundian stone church. Guests will be invited in to taste the variety of Joullian wines including, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Zinfandel.

Sporting Events
Golf Tournament
Starting times from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday at the World Class Poppy Hills Golf Course located inside 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beach, CA. Come play in a friendly tournament with your SEAOC colleagues on one of three courses used for the AT&T Pro-Am PGA Tour Event. The tournament will be played according to a modified Callaway handicap scoring system. Prizes will be awarded. Cost per contestant, $130.
Tennis Tournament
Come play tennis Saturday morning at 9:00 at the Monterey Tennis Center, just two blocks from the Portola Plaza Hotel at Monterey Bay. Categories will be Men's and Women's Doubles and possibly Mixed Doubles. No partner needed to sign up. Partners will rotate. Cost per contestant, $30.
Bocce Ball
A SEAOC First!! On Thursday immediately following the technical sessions, come experience a fine old Italian tradition and play Bocce Ball at the historical Bocce Ball courts directly adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf outside the Double Tree doors. Come enjoy Chianti and wine soaked cigars. No charge for entry.
President's Cup
Following the Technical Sessions on Friday @ 4:00 PM, Come watch and cheer for your team (or participate if you are so lucky) in a friendly competition between the four SEAOC Member Organizations. A memorable experience is promised for all contestants and spectators, and a hosted bar will be provided by Club Curry for everyone. Always a good time, so join the festivities! No charge for entry.
Fun Run
Start your Saturday morning @ 8:00 AM with a brisk 3-mile run through picturesque Monterey! You estimate your time before the run. The closest to the stated time wins! Coffee, tea, juice and refreshments served at the start/finish. The Fun Run start/finish will be right outside the Portola Plaza Hotel lobby in the mall area, the open space between the two sections of the Hotel. No charge for entry.
