Student Members are required to pay the fee of $40 at the time application is submitted (this fee includes $10 application fee and $30 for membership dues). Payment must be provided to the SEAONC office within 2 weeks of application being submitted to SEAONC. If fee is not received within this period the application provided by the student will be placed on hold until payment is received. All other grades of Membership please provide the approriate initiation fee below. Membership dues will be invoiced and prorated from month membership is finalized. Dues, Giles Convention, and SEAONC General Fund contributions are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes, but may be deductible as a business expense. *Contributions to the SEAONC Scholarship Fund are deductible as charitable contributions. Dues to the SEAONC organization and SEAOC are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. A portion of dues, however, is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense to the extent that SEAOC engages in lobbying activity. The non-deductible portion of dues for 2005-2006 is estimated to be 5%.
