Come learn about the latest in timber design. As technological advancements allow the application of this historic material to evolve and meet the new and changing needs of structures, it’s critical to remain in-the-know with how to effectively design and retrofit timber structures. Learn about code updates in wood design focusing on NDS 2018, hear case studies on unique retrofits, learn about permitting challenges of emerging technologies like CLT diaphragms, and overview best practices of wood detailing for common and irregular cases.
